Wild, Exhilarating Goals!!  What comes to mind when you read that?  If you let your big goals rise to the surface, I bet your second reaction is to push them down.  You might not allow yourself the joy of running after your wild, exhilarating goals because frankly, they scare you!

Let’s take a minute to dwell on all of the reasons why you might tend to shy away from, instead of run after, those sweet and succulent goals…

You give your power away to others who say your dreams are too big.

You listen to others who say you are being irrational.  (I’m not saying you shouldn’t look for great counsel when you make decisions.  I’m saying that if their advice is dampening you down inside, that’s a clue.)

You focus on what looks impossible instead of focusing on what could be.

You listen to fear instead of trusting in the unseen.  Fear drowns out excitement and real Life.  Focusing on failure will only hinder you from winning.

You believe lies about yourself and your life’s purpose.  “I should settle for what I have.  I’m already quite fortunate.  By living a “larger” life I’m being self indulgent.  I’ll never achieve what I dream of so I might as well not try.  I’m not making a big impact in people’s lives and that probably won’t change so why put more effort in?”

Ok!  Shake all that “heavy” off.  Isn’t it crazy that a lot of life is spent in “heavy” land!?  Now let’s dwell on possibility….aaaahhhhhh!

Running After That Wild, Exhilarating Feeling

It’s the truth.  Living a small, comfortable life is boring, lacking purpose and lacking fun.  I’m sorry if I offended anyone there!  Do you want to make a LARGE impact with your life?  First things first then, you’ll need to give Fear the boot and start trusting your intuition.

If you want to get past low self confidence to the “land of milk and honey,” you’ll need to take some new, possibly uncomfortable actions.

If you are currently not pursuing the goals that linger in your heart, people are missing out on you!  If you hold yourself back from these goals you won’t flourish like you’re meant to.  And believe me, you are meant to flourish, excel, conquer and step into more and more greatness.

You will help others step into their best selves by pursuing those wild, exhilarating goals of yours.  I’m cheering you on!  Go for it!

“Someone once told me not to bite off more than I could chew. I said I’d rather choke on greatness than nibble on mediocrity.”

Would you share this with someone you thought of while reading?  I’m sure they’ll say thank you!

Lots of love,

Amy
