5 Amazing Mini-Habits That Will Make 2016 Awesome!!

These amazing mini-habits (if you put them into action) will definately make 2016 awesome for you!  You’ve probably heard it said before that life starts outside your comfort zone.  Take a few minutes for yourself today to decide which of these habits you want to implement.  Ask yourself which of these habits you could stick to…

Habit #1  Take Risks

No greatness has ever been achieved without a risk being taken.  That which scares you usually leads you towards what you are called to pursue.  It’s healthy and wise to evaluate your decisions before taking a risk.  On the flip side, it’s unhealthy to let fear of the unknown hold you back from the life, business and relationships you could be enjoying.

Habit #2  Take Time

Some people fill there days so full with “important” tasks that they have very little, sometimes no time for themselves or their families.  If this is you, giving yourself more time to just be present, breath and think will do you a world of wonders!  When you take even a few minutes more for yourself each day you will find answers to your questions, clarity on what might be holding you back and peace of mind so that your stress levels don’t get out of hand.

Habit #3  Ask For What You Need

People can’t read your mind.  Your needs are just as important as any other persons.  When your most important needs aren’t met you can tend to become more irritable, short tempered or resentful.  Don’t leave it to chance.  Ask for what you need.  If this doesn’t come easily to you right now, it will with practice.  Your voice is important.  You are not being selfish in asking for what you need.

Habit #4  Don’t Compromise

When you compromise what’s most important to you just to please others or fit in, you risk losing yourself.  Please don’t misunderstand me, I’m not suggesting you don’t compromise for your spouse or business partner when necessary.  I’m saying, avoid indulging in relationships, conversations or activities if you know in your heart they just don’t jive with who you are.  Spend your time with others or involved in activities that lift you up and make you feel ‘right’ and healthy inside.  Life is short.

Habit #5  Value Yourself More

When you can walk around with the knowledge of how deeply loved and cherished you are, you can face anything.  I know that I am incredibly valuable because of Jesus.  I don’t know what your spiritual beliefs are but I sure know that you are incredibly valuable!!  When you start to treat yourself as incredibly valuable, you will make decisions that lead to life, health, deep happiness and fulfillment.  There are many ways to value yourself more, from how you choose to spend your time, to honoring your emotions and your body.
