To believe in yourself like crazy takes true grit!
Cultivating Seeds of Belief
I’ve learned that believing in myself requires commitment. I must decide to trust myself and the value of what I want. I must learn to stick to my decisions and deeply ground myself in my worth.
Sometimes I feel crazy….
due to the decisions I make. It takes a bit of craziness to truly believe in your worth and potential. It requires crazy trust and crazy conviction.
Showing My True Self
Growing to a place where I believe strongly in my worth has been a scary process sometimes. Travelling this road of personal growth feels vulnerable. In her book, “Daring Greatly,” Brene Brown gives examples people shared when asked to describe vulnerability…
“Vulnerability is like being naked onstage and hoping for applause rather than laughter.”
“Going out on a limb-a very, very high limb.”
I can relate.
Choosing to get “naked” and stand for what I believe is best for me always proves to be worthwhile. I always grow.
How about you? Have you grown as a person because you believed in yourself? I’d love to hear your story! Would you share a story of when you decided to believe in yourself?
Thank you for the opportunity to share a bit of my story with you!
Love,
Amy
